Mighty Proud Media, Inc. | Social Media Design
A social media app in need of social media design? Who could have seen this coming. During my tenure at The Mighty, we ran plenty of campaigns, across a variety of social media apps like The Mighty (duh), Instagram, Facebook, and the list goes on. Take a look at some of my favorite picks from the lot.
Programs: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma
Role: Lead Designer
Campaigns
At The Mighty we loved discussion and connection. We loved bringing prompts to the [social] table for our members to connect and find that community that makes them feel like they are home.
We were also a platform for our members to share their stories, and this did not end on The Mighty app alone. “Hot off the presses” was a way to feature new contributors, new stories, and shine a light on different communities within The Mighty.
We just love showing off the amazing things our members do.
Did someone say celebration? Ok, I did.
Every now and then we need a little award for doing the simple things when life isn’t simple. This campaign was a small and cheeky way to bring some joy into our members’ days, the motivation to keep going, and to know that you’re not alone. There’s an entire Mighty community here to cheer you on.
Mighty Email Design
Picture it, the sun rises on another beautiful day.
What better way to start that day than with your favorite social media platform in your inbox with a curated list of stories for you, from your community.
It was always my goal to make sure our community felt heard, seen, and understood, so finding a way to shed light on every group, author, and everyone in-between.
Marketing
I worked on the design for the website, app, email, and everything in-between. One of those fun, miscellaneous, in-betweens was none other than the design for the app store itself.
Available on both Apple and Google Play, the design had to be compatible for both stores and tell our story. Using cleverly cropped images, we used screenshots and text to tell the story of the Mighty and what we could offer new members, in the hopes they will join us.
